I bought some Kurust as well (I know the only real way is to cut out and replace) just to hold the worst back until the summers here again. Only when we insisted that we visit to inspect the results we found the dynax S50 panel film was max about 20 microns in a few places but down to absolute zero in others. For non-aerosol dispensed Dynax-S50, warming the container (loosen cap first) by standing in a hot water bath will further reduce viscosity and is beneficial where deep crevice protection is required. I think there'd only be a problem if it was used in say wheel arches or other high impact areas which take a lot of constant abuse from stones etc. It's recommended to place container in a room at around 15 degrees C for 24 hours prior to use particularly when using low pressure equipment for spray application. Dynax-S50 is also recommended for protection of valuable machinery and component in transit, machine tools, moulds etc. The tolerance of the material to maintain protection at very low film thickness makes dynax S50 the ideal choice where surface inspection is not easy or where uniform coatings are simply not possible. If you decide to treat your car or vehicle to additional corrosion treatment its important to select a cavity wax that can penetrate into welded flange seams these are the areas proven to be the first to corrode in fact the Swedish Corrosion Institute conducted a thorough investigation into vehicle corrosion by sawing open the bodies of 845 collision-damaged cars manufactured between 1994 and 1997, the corrosion observed in the flanges and seams resulted in the recommendation that even on cars with reasonably good cavity fluid treatment applied at the factory a complementary treatment be used within 3-4 years of manufacture.It will covert the rust AND leave you with a surface that you can apply paint straight onto, or leave until you have the time to do the job properly. The Dynax S50 came in a spray can, a rather large one at that, in addition to the spray nozzle, it always came with a handy 360 degree attachment on the end of a length of tubing, which allows the nozzle to be pushed into inaccessible areas to allow you to spray the wax (not pictured). Starting to spray the product, it's like a thick brown solution that clings to all surfaces, it's quite thick and none of it ran away, it just stuck to the surface which was ideal.Dynax-S50 is tolerant of a broad range of application pressures and will form a coherent film upon application. You get to do the wheels properly (I think that Nick at pro Detailing has used Auto-balm on his wheels, and I'm looking forward to his comments). Always used a competitors produst in the past and was always dssapointed in its long term effectiveness. The beauty of Hydrate is that it will start resolving the problem from the moment you apply it, and it protects if you're unable to apply primer or paint as soon as you'd like. ASTM 117 only tests for resistance to corrosion, many manufacturers don't bother with testing for humidity as well.
